Interested in cat or kitten adoption?
The survival rate of kittens born into outdoor lives is less than 50%. When we have available fosters, Kudzu Cat Alliance rescues kittens born to community (feral) cat colonies so they can have a better life off the streets. If you do not already have a cat in your home we prefer to adopt in pairs. This article from Kitten Lady explains why two kittens are better than one — for them, and for you!
If you’re interested in a new friend, you can browse our adoptable cats and fill out our adoption application. If you want to help us save lives please consider becoming a foster!
What Goes into a Kudzu Cat?
Every cat we adopt out has been examined by a veterinarian, combo tested (FeLV/FIV), dewormed and treated for fleas, spayed or neutered, microchipped, and has had age-appropriate vaccinations. Most of our kittens have come from a rough start, and we often invest a great deal of money getting them healthy and ready for a forever home. Our baseline per cat investment for a totally healthy kitten averages $150, and our actual cost can easily run into the hundreds.
Our single cat adoption fee is $100, kittens under one year are $125, and to encourage pair adoptions our pair fee is $150 for cats and $200 for kittens. If you want to help us continue saving these often overlooked lives we welcome your adoption donation above these amounts.
